What pests does a general spray control?

A general pest treatment is effective in the broad control of spiders, cockroaches, silverfish, and ants. Many of our clients also find that our practice of putting a light mist of the general spray on internal ceilings also deters and controls flies.

Which pests doesn't a general spray control?

A general pest spray does not cover infestations requiring heavy and targeted treatment for specific infestations. The general spray also does not cover termites, borers, or rodents. If you have termites, borers, or rodents please contact us to discuss the control of these specific pests.

How often should a general pest control spray be done?

Think of it like a yearly car service: it will maintain your indoor and outdoor living and entertaining areas from most creepy crawlies for between 9 - 12 months. In fact, you will get 6 months inside warranty and 3 months outside warranty with this service.

What should I do between general pest control treatments?

Like any animal, pests require food, water, and shelter. The best way to keep your home clear of pests is to remove these things by:
- keeping benchtops clear and clean
- regularly emptying bins
- cleaning up food spills
- regularly changing out pet food and water bowls
- fixing water leaks
- periodically “spring” cleaning garages, sheds, under stairs and other areas you don’t use frequently

What should I do with my pets during a general pest control spray?

The chemicals we use are safe for most household pets. However, it can be harmful to reptiles and fish. If you do have reptiles or fish we recommend that reptiles be moved from the house and fish tanks are covered and aerator pumps are turned off during the treatment and for half and hour after the treatment.

We recommend that you remove any pet food and water bowls before treatment and clean them after treatment.
